This site is encountering problems with Internet Explorer.
Loading of the page is aborted. It happens randomly, though. Sometimes the site loads perfectly fine, sometimes not. I’ve tried a couple of fixes but it hasn’t solved the problem yet.
Weird. The site is working perfectly fine on Mozilla Firefox.
I’ll be working on this, don’t worry. My apologies for the inconvenience.
My apologies also for the hiatus (again). My mojos took an early Holy Week vacation to give myself sometime to prepare for the approaching D-Day of Baby Kobe. My maternity leave starts next week; I should be able to make up for the irregular updates.
I’m still here, I swear. Just a little pregnant and about to give birth. ![]()
It’s almost weekend again and I’m still not done catching up from last weekend. Ugh.
In the meantime, here’s my first guest blogger. You are probably familiar with him already because I’ve mentioned his name several times in this site.
Without further ado, here’s Senator Mon’s unedited view on today’s topic. Don’t worry, mommies, I’m already writing a response to this post. ![]()
First, I’d like to thank Meng for letting me guest post here at mommyontop.com. I’ve always been monitoring this blog and I sincerely believe that mommyontop.com will ‘go places’ since it serves a good niche and Meng has a passion for writing (and enjoys being a wife and a mother). This piece is a welcome respite from the tech and geeky stuff of gmtristan.com, my own blog. Ready?
Being a married man (and proud of it), I’ve always wondered what it’s like to share to wives everywhere our own ‘point-of-view’. Of course, WE KNOW what annoys us the most. Apparently, very few wives (or even girlfriends) know about these nuances.
More after the jump…
I mentioned last time that I’ve resolved to invest on a battery-operated or electronic breastpump so I can breastfeed much longer than when I did for my first son. I also mentioned that I already have a specific pump in mind but am not yet 100% sure about it.
Well, I’ve finally decided to get the newly-released Medela FreeStyle™ Hands-Free Electric Double Breastpump.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the past several days have been quite a handful for me, with my husband and son both getting sick while I was feeling extra exhausted and there were stuff at work that needed my immediate attention.
Anyway, despite these minor health concerns (minor because both of them were more energetic than I was while we were all feeling under the weather), the past several days has brought about a couple of developments in our lives that we are thankful for.
My apologies for the 4-day hiatus. My husband and son both got sick at the time that I myself was feeling physically and emotionally drained. My pregnancy hormones continue to drive me crazy.
Now I’ll try and catch up with my rounds so my online friends will know that I still exist. ![]()
First off, let me show off the awards given to me by my fellow blogger moms.
A very good friend, Senator Mon as I call him, tagged me and “obliged” me to display my desktop for everyone to see. I’m at work right now and I decided to do a quick post on this because I sooooo love my desktop here.
I just realized that in majority of my favorite shots of him, he’s wearing that striped brown romper. Useless trivia. ![]()
I won’t be tagging anyone because I saw that most of my blogger friends have done this already. To those who haven’t, feel free to grab this tag. Don’t forget to let me know you’ve done it so I can take a look. ![]()
Got tagged by Eileen and Joey.

I just want to share this video of my son playing with the cloth diaper I was using to wipe his mouth with (he’s teething and he’s drooling all over the bed
)
