Kobe was baptized last Sunday, August 10. He was exactly 4 months old.
Here’s the invitation I made which I just sent through email. Click on the image to view the full size of the invite.

We have very limited budget, so we able to invite just a handful of people. Mostly were godparents, and just a couple of officemates-turned-close friends.
The ceremonies at the church was chaotic. It was a public ceremony so you can just imagine the number of people gathered in front of the altar. A couple of babies were crying all throughout the ceremony, so we werent’ able to hear clearly what the priest was saying.
Anyhoo, I was glad that a several godparents were able to join us at the church. Our place is a not that easy to find, and it’s really great that the invited ones were still able to join our simple celebration.
One thing that I regret is that, in our hurry to get out of the crowded church, we forgot to take a family picture. And pictures with the godparents. We weren’t able to do so when we got home because I got busy preparing the food (which was delivered late).
Because I knew there was gonna be little food, we thought we had to make up with the entertainment, for the very least. Our guests are mostly gamers like us, so we set up a gaming console and prepared a game that everyone loves - Guitar Hero III.
One of the godparents, one who I fondly call Senator Mon, helped us entertain everyone else with a game whose name I forgot. Basically, we picked up a piece of paper from a bowl, and in it was written our “character” - villager, seer, and werewolf. We were supposed to guess who the werewolf is, who was killing villagers off. It’s kinda hard to describe, but it was really fun.
All in all it was great. My son is now baptized, and my friends had a good time.
I hope we have more money for the next occasion (Issen’s 2nd birthday!) so we can invite more people and prepare more fun stuff to do.
By the way, pictures are posted here. Some taken from a friend’s camera can be found here. I’m still waiting for more pics from a couple more friends; I’ll post them as soon as I get hold of those pics.
