Actually, you’d have to be better than helluva good to get much out of a hard cover ball like that. The pros and ranked amateurs are all using urethane and reactive resin balls nowadays. Lots more consistent tracking.
This would be fun bowling with a ball like this. I would not want one, just that it would be fun.
Thank you for peeking in on my blue old car, I liked it too. Today I found a beautiful 1963 Volkswagon, I had my camera and didn’t even take a picture. It might be worth a drive back to get one tomorrow (if it is still parked there). I used to have a 1962 Bug.
..
@Jim, I wouldn’t be able to take a pic too, if I were in your place. I would be too surprised and will choose to keep the memory in my mind than lose the opportunity to admire such beauty while fumblilng with my camera.
I love the ball. I don’t bowl (the ball is just so darn heavy, and the shoes so slippery… it’s disaster waiting to happen), but I love this ball. I’d use it. In the smallest weight available.
This actually reminds me of Janeane Garofalo’s character in Mystery Men. Heeeeey, I think that’s what they’re going after! It looks really so much like The Bowler’s ball!
Happy WW! Perfect for those Halloween Bowling Parties!
Thanx for your earlier visit! I invite your blog readers to see Anti-Sarah Palin rally up in Alaska on my WW-post this week. Not much coverage of this event in the MSM…

Makes a neat photo though!
Oh… and I love the title of your blog. Srsly.
I’m not sure what that ball was made of, but it sure would be a nice conversation piece.
Thanks for the comments! And glad you liked the blog title, the husband loves it oo!
spare me!
Nice choice for WW though!

@Indrani, I love your WW entry.
Thanks for dropping by!
@Indrani: “Spare me!” Hilarious! *laughing*

Haha I saw that and I thought Mystery Men! Great shot
That would sure turn some heads at the bowling alley!
That would be very distracting in any alley. lol
oooh freaky.. I love it!
It’s been a few years since I’ve been bowling but I darn sure don’t remember any cool balls like that
Happy WW!
The only thing that would make it cooler is if the skull was real. “Come on kids, time to take grandma bowling!”
Thats a cool ball! My son would love to have that!
Is that really the price?
Proud grandma!
Yikes! I don’t think I could bowl with that looking at me. Interesting find, to be sure.

Interesting ball!!! Happy WW!
It would be cool if you had one for each family member. Different sizes and weight.
I love bowling… but no thanks!
No thank you! lol
I took that pic around January this year. And yeah, that’s the price, but it’s in Philippine pesos. Php7000 is around US$150.
