OUR KID’S NAMES: List all of your kids’ names, or even just one. Its up to you. Write down the story or the reason why you chose it. If you’re expecting or planning to have more kids and already have a name for them….list them down too.

That’s why I haven’t been around for several days now.
Add to that the work I have to do to catch up from my two-day absence last week due to plugged milk ducts.
I have been practically sleepless for several nights now because my first-born, Issen, has been having fever every night. Yes, he just gets fever at night. He’s perfectly fine during the day, but will always wake up crying several times during the night because he has high fever.

And since I am co-sleeping with both kids… (more…)
This is an overdue post.
My 21-month-old toddler had his haircut last week, a day before his baby brother’s baptism. i was planning to just have his hair trimmed, but when we got to the kiddie salon and the barber showed me an album of the different hairstyles they can do, I changed my mind.

A before-and-after pic after one more click…
(This doubles as my Father’s Day post, although I said more about Issen than about the husband. WIll do a separate post for the husband.)
I was browsing through my files here at the office and what did I find in my personal folder?
Videos of Issen when he was younger.
Here’s one. Take note of how tiny he looked (compared to his gigantic size now) and how high-pitched his voice was.
More videos here.
Watching these videos, I can’t help it but realize how much he has grown. He looked so tiny in the videos compared to how big he is now.
Then I realize that in a few months’ time, it’s Kobe that I’ll be watching running around the office and reading books with Daddy, with Kuya Issen fooling around them and distracting his little brother, I’m sure.

How is it that whenever I am in the mood to update this blog, I hear my 18-month-old boy laughing and having fun outside the room, playing with his nanny, as if saying, “Mom, you’re missing a lot! Come here and play with me!”
Like now.
Gotta go. My maternity leave technically ends today so I want to make the most of my time with my kids.
I miss them so much already. ![]()
I should have posted this birth announcement with the birth story but I was so excited to share the news that I just went on and posted the story without this.
I wanted to use a better picture of Kobe, but I don’t have much yet since he’s still in the hospital. I’d probably make another one when he’s home.

FINALLY!
After the long wait, Kobe has made his grand entrance!
