There are a lot of books out there that can help you through your nine-month journey to motherhood. I had several, and among them, my favorites and the most-read are the ones that make me laugh. Maybe because I’m biased on things that cheer me up, but I think it’s because it is human nature to be more receptive on things that don’t “lecture” you.
Anyway, I came upon this book and I feel so bad that I didn’t find this while I was pregnant. The tips and information in Safe Baby Pregnancy Tips were so ridiculously illustrated any pregnant woman will surely laugh till she becomes teary-eyed. Anyone will double up with laughter upon seeing the hilarious illustrations.
Their comparisons of the pregnancy dos and don’ts are hilariously obvious and, as described in Official Dating Resource, extremely ridiculous. Take, for example, this image…
FINALLY!
After the long wait, Kobe has made his grand entrance!

So the husband and I went to the OB this morning for a check up. I actually was intending to ask beg my OB to induce my labor. I was hopeful she’ll agree because all the interns who did the initial check up kept on saying that I’m “ripe for the picking.”
Imagine how my world crumbled when the OB said, “No, let’s wait one more week.”
Apparently, my placenta isn’t ready yet. Still on Grade 2-3. My OB said it needs to be in Grade 3 state to even consider labor induction. If I still don’t give birth until next Thursday, that’s only the time she’ll consider inducing me.
Fine. We wait then. ![]()
But don’t blame me if I’m cranky and b*tchy more often than usual. Aside from the summer heat and the fact that I’m having a hard time moving around, my impatience and frustration (for not being able to give birth already) will very soon get to me.
I stumbled upon an article about an overdue pregnant woman putting up with comments from people around her. Here’s her advice:
So, my advice to everyone is NEVER approach an overdue pregnant woman unless exercising extreme caution
NEVER make jokey comments to overdue pregnant women
NEVER be sympathetic to overdue pregnant women unless you have been there yourself
In fact unless you know what an overdue pregnant women is going through
LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!!

My own advice? LISTEN TO HER! Remember her wise words when around this not-overdue-pregnant-but-itching-to-give-birth woman.
Seriously.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I haven’t given birth yet. Yes, I’m still very much pregnant. And getting really impatient now. ![]()
I know it’s been ages since my last post, but I have been busy with my last minute preparations for Kobe’s arrival. Would you believe that I just finished packing my hospital bag last week? When I was pregnant with Issen, my hospital bag was packed and ready to go as early as about 8 weeks before my due date.
My maternity leave started last week, and I thought Kobe would make his grand entrance sometime that week because I started having irregular contractions already. To my dismay, the contractions stopped altogether around Wednesday morning.
Same thing this week. I was having contractions again starting Monday but didn’t feel any today. I already asked my OB if my labor can be induced this weekend in case I still don’t give birth by Friday. She told me to wait a few more days. ![]()
I hope I can stretch my patience a bit longer. The waiting game is really killing me!
